About the Practice

Congleton Dental Centre was founded by practice owner Dr Andrew Mellor in 1985. Originally sited at 73 West Street, the practice has grown over the years and moved to its current site at 11 West Street in 2006. Following the closure of a local practice on West Street, the practice is currently expanding again, taking rooms on the first floor of the former Staffordshire Knot public house.

The practice has eight state of the art treatment rooms with a fully computerised record and appointment system together with digital radiograph imaging. We have a fully equipped decontamination suite to comply with best practice regulations on cleaning and sterilising equipment.

The practice has always remained loyal to the National Health Service and offers the full range of available NHS treatments. We are currently accepting new NHS patients
